Bollegraaf nominated for Entrepreneur Award 2011

This year Bollegraaf Recycling Machinery celebrates its 50 years anniversary. To merit its achievements a jury consisting of public officials and fellow entrepreneurs has seen fit to nominate Bollegraaf Recycling Machinery for the Groninger Ondernemingsprijs 2011, a prestigious entrepreneurial award in the Northern part of the Netherlands. Since its beginning in 1961, Bollegraaf has been a leading company in the recycling industry. Founder of the company Hartog Bollegraaf started off as a manufacturer of recycling machinery in Appingedam, the Netherlands. Since the late nineteen eighties Bollegraaf has successfully established subsidiaries in major export markets like the United States, France and the United Kingdom. In recent years, under the leadership of Heiman Bollegraaf, the company foresaw the need for turnkey installations in order to meet the business challenges within the recycling industry. Innovation has ever been a major part of Bollegraaf’s strategy. As a result, Bollegraaf is regarded worldwide to set the quality standard in the market. Its successful strategy has made Bollegraaf into a solid partner for the recycling industry, a yearlong major employer in the Northern part of the Netherlands, and a lasting contributor to the Northern Dutch economy.
