Variable Pressure Control

Without variable channel pressure control, pressure on the cut-off cylinder will increase to about 220bar during the compression stroke. By way of a button on the switchboard, a lower pressure can be set manually for the cut-off cylinder. This setting can vary from 1 (50bar) to 10 (220bar). As a result, the counter-pressure on the material drops away earlier so the bale is compressed with less force. This means there is less pressure on the tie wires.
