The bales produced by a HBC-baler can automatically be weighed provided the baler is equipped with the BIOS system. The bale will be pushed out of the channel onto a 2.000 mm long chute. From this chute the bale will be transported to the weighing unit by a 2.500 mm long driven roller track. The weighing unit is provided with a 2.500 mm long roller track. During the weighing process the bale pauses, the data is then obtained using four transducers. After being weighed, the bale will be transported by the driven roller track to a transport track. The weighing process is controlled by the PLC, and the BIOS system retains the information received.
