Bollegraaf supplies a series of reel splitters specifically for cutting large rolls of paper quickly and efficiently. These reel splitter machines stand out for their long operational life, safety and tailor-made functionality.

The Bollegraaf reel splitters can be used to cut large rolls of paper into smaller pieces, whereby the rolls are cut lengthwise. These pieces are then easier to handle for further processing, for instance by a shredder, baler or pulper.

There are three versions of the Bollegraaf reel splitters, with capacities relating to the size of the rolls that are to be processed. The largest model, the RSM 2300/2750, cuts rolls to 275 cm long with a maximum diameter of 230 cm. The RSM 2300/2750 can be equipped with conveyor belts to move the material to and from the reel splitter.

For safety during the cutting process, every Bollegraaf reel splitter is equipped with two-hand controls. The operator has to use the knife control with two hands. The frame of the machine is constructed with heavy steel tubular girders.
