What will be your role?
As a Central Support Officer (CSO) on the After Sales department, you are the link and manager of processes between the international clients and internal stakeholders. Using your technical skills and know-how, you will contribute to the maintenance and optimalization of Bollegraaf installations in the field. In this role, you will focus mainly on our client base in the United Kingdom and Ireland (British Isles). Customer satisfaction is key!
What are your responsibilities?
The CSO is a technical and commercial role with a broad range of responsibilities and tasks. You will manage client requests from A to Z.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Acting as single point of contact for our clients and coordinating all service-related communication;
- Advising clients (reactively and proactively), providing technical solutions to clients, working out inspections, preparing quotations, indirectly preparing the deployment of our field service engineers and/or the shipments of (spare)parts;
- Acting as an all-round coordinator for the client, both technically and commercially, and building and maintaining strong relations;
- Preparing, processing, finalizing and following up on the technical and financial aspects of each service project and reporting on them;
- Identifying extra opportunities for clients regarding services and products of Bollegraaf and communicating this with our sales team;
- Identifying areas of improvement for the aftercare phase to further increase customer satisfaction and develop the services together with your colleagues.
Who are you?
You communicate in a professional and proactive manner. You collect relevant information from the customers and your colleagues and other departments. You worked in a technical after sales/service environment before. You are proactive, think ahead, and contribute ideas for future improvements and the professionalization of work processes.
What do you bring?
- Work- and thinking capacity at Bachelor level;
- High level of technical knowledge, demonstrated by relevant work experience and/or by higher educational degree;
- Experience in a commercial role;
- Excellent communication skills. You like ‘being the linchpin’;
- You are comfortable with working in a dynamic and sometimes hectic work environment;
- You have a hands-on mentality, showing initiative and going the extra mile for the customer;
- You are service-oriented, are solutions-focused and recognize commercial opportunities;
- You bring important matters to the attention of customers, sales managers, and the internal stakeholders, and remain constructive;
- You have an interest in machinery and are open to learning;
- Excellent English proficiency. Additionally, proficiency in Dutch, German and/or French are an advantage but not a must.
