Sales Engineer Balers

As Sales Engineer Balers you will support the sales manager with the technical side of the (pre-)sales process.

Location: Appingedam, NL

What will be your role?

You will be working in our baler business unit. You will provide technical support to the sales
manager during the pre-sales process and create system designs (and related quotations) in
3D.

You will create a customer-tailored solution (and system designs) for the waste problem. You
do this together with the sales manager by making a complete and detailed elaboration in the
form of set-up drawings, flow diagrams, mass balance and quotation. In addition, you are
responsible for the technical design (3D drawing) and calculating the correct cost price. For the
handover of the project and after approval of all parties, you will be in contact with and make
order confirmations for the project management and engineering department.

Of course you keep an eye on developments in the market and alert the sales manager about
new, creative and profitable solutions!

What do you bring?

• Vocational / Higher education (technical) working and thinking level;
• Preferably experience in a similar technical (commercial) position;
• You are above all proactive, independent, enthusiastic, customer- and solution-oriented,result-oriented, stress-resistant, flexible, accurate, and a team player;
• Mastery of 3D drawing (Previous use of Inventor is an advantage);
• You are in possession of a driver’s license;
• Excellent proficiency of the English language both verbally and in writing. German and/or French is an advantage.
