The highlights of 2021 for Bollegraaf and Lubo Recycling Solutions
At the start of the new year, we like to look back at the accomplishment of the previous year. 2021 was marked as a changing, innovative and a year of fantastic growth for us despite the pandemic.
2021 the year of the 60th anniversary of Bollegraaf Recycling Solutions, an unprecedented experience in the waste sorting industry. In honor of this anniversary, we festively opened our brand-new test center last September.
The test center features our latest innovations for mechanical recycling, such as the Opti-Sort, our solution for the growing problem of lightweight packaging material in waste streams. The test center also gives us the opportunity to continue our innovation journey through the testing of new technologies, training of personnel and running tests with varying waste streams. This enables us to deliver best personalized solutions to our customers.
During 2021 we have also reshaped our visual identity by introducing a new logo and colors. One of our new main colors is orange, which represents our Dutch origin and the country where we design the MRF’s and manufacture all the machinery of the company. We also introduced this new visual identity at the different exhibition, such as Pollutec. Our new visual identity was met with great enthusiasm and compliments at the exhibition. Thank you to everyone that visited us during the exhibition!
2021 was also marked by the commissioning of several big waste sorting installations, such as Zoomlion in Ghana, and Nicollin in France. We also had the pleasure of being part of many smaller waste sorting installations and machinery solutions.
To be successful in these projects, ventures, and innovations, we have worked together with several new partners and welcomed several new employees! Without the diligent and hard work of all our employees, we would not have been able to manage the goals of 2021.
