Allround Field Service Engineer

We are looking for an Allround Field Service Engineer in Germany, Benelux, France and England.

Who are we?

Bollegraaf Recycling Solutions is internationally renowned as a leading manufacturer of extremely large turnkey systems for the recycling industry. We have sites or agents in most European countries, North America, Australia and Asia, and our machines are sold across the globe. For example, 80% of household waste in New York is processed by a Bollegraaf machine!

In Appingedam and Emmen, around 200 employees work continuously on our products. From R&D to production: we have everything in house.

With our products we make a positive contribution to a sustainable world. Our systems are able to separate raw materials from waste due to innovative and superior technologies. You will realise that we operate in a growth market, as reuse and recycling form the basis for a circular economy, which is the aim pursued by many governments!

What does your work entail?

As soon as you have been inducted fully, you will work from home to solve client’s faults and complaints on site. The faults may be electrical, hydraulic or mechanical in nature. You also ensure the systems and machines are installed, commissioned and maintained ready to use. Carrying out preventive maintenance is another element of your set of tasks. You maintain contact with the client, insofar as it concerns the installation of machines or faults to machines of the client in question and you instruct the client in the use and operational maintenance of the machine. You play an extremely important role, as you are the business card and in many cases you are the first physical contact with our clients in the field.

What do we expect from you?

You have completed a technical, mechanical or associated education. You have knowledge of PLC, electronics, hydraulics and mechanics and, where necessary, you are able to expand your knowledge with training courses. Experience of electrical and inert gas welding is an advantage. You can read and understand circuit diagrams, and electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and connection diagrams. You have at least 5 years of work experience, preferably in a comparable post. You speak Dutch, English and German. Speaking French is an advantage.

What do we offer?

  • A challenging job in an international and innovative technical company.
  • Generous expenses and allowances for jobs that take more than one day and work on weekends.
  • Fully equipped service van, mobile phone and laptop for carrying out your job.
  • A competitive salary in function of your experience.
  • 27 holidays and 13 shorter working hours days (ADV days) a year.
  • Option to exchange 3, 6 or 9 ADV days for extra salary.
  • An active personnel association.
  • Professional team.
