We are looking for a French-speaking Central Support Officer in Appingedam, the Netherlands.

In the position of Central Support Officer, you form the link between international customers on the one hand and the internal aftersales organisation and other internal stakeholders on the other. You significantly contribute to the excellent performance of the Bollegraaf systems in the field. Customer satisfaction is key!
The company plays an extensive role, and you will be managing international customer demand across the board. You are the single point of contact and advise the customer both reactively and proactively in terms of solutions, giving quotations and preparing the deployment of service engineers or the shipment of parts. You are the customer coordinator in all areas – both technical and commercial – and you know how to build a good relationship with them. You handle and report on both the substantive and financial sides of the projects. You always see opportunities to go the extra mile for clients with Bollegraaf products and services. Finally, you look at what can be improved in the follow-up phase so that you continue to learn and develop. The job includes regular national and international client visits.
Bollegraaf Recycling Solutions is internationally renowned as a leading manufacturer of extremely large turnkey systems for the recycling industry. Bollegraaf has several branches or agents in most European countries and North America, but our machines and total solutions can be found worldwide, such as in Egypt and Ghana. 80% of the household waste in New York is processed by a Bollegraaf machine!
Around 250 employees work continuously on our products in Appingedam and Emmen. From R&D to production, Bollegraaf keeps everything under one roof, and its products contribute to a more sustainable world. Our systems can separate raw materials from waste using innovative and superior technologies. Bollegraaf operates in a growth market; reusing and recycling raw materials is crucial to preventing the depletion of natural resources.
You communicate proactively and ensure that the various colleagues and departments provide the necessary information. You have experience in a technical after-sales/service environment and can contribute with your knowledge and expertise to the further design and professionalisation of the work processes (in an ERP environment). You communicate easily in French and English, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is an advantage.
- Higher Professional Education level of work and intellect. This could be a commercial background with an affinity for technology, but also a technical background with commercial drive.
- You like to visit customers from time to time to discuss offers for the “bigger” jobs.
- You speak English and French; Dutch is an advantage.
- You have relevant work experience in a technical-commercially oriented, service-oriented position.
- You have good communication skills and are very proactive and customer-oriented.
- You think in terms of opportunities and solutions and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
- You are a service-oriented but critical person who does not shrink from bringing matters to the attention of customers, sales staff and the internal organisation.
